Dog Owners Guide to find Responsible Breeders

Questions to ask a breeder  When you talk to a breeder, they will be looking for information before they make any kind of commitment.  If you ask questions, the breeder will know you are serious.

San Francisco West Highland Terrier Club There is some excellent information here.  While we refer to Westies as white Cairns, with the exception of some Westie specific genetic diseases, they are very similar to Cairns, in attitude, care, and size.   At this web site, there are many links and information things for you to consider, (When it reads Westie, think Cairn of another color), and much, much more. This is an great web site for terrier information.  Also, If you have never owned a terrier go to their Westie National Club site, There is a "profiler" which can help you decide if a terrier is for you, well worth the visit if you have never owned a terrier.
